Akshat Patel has been promoted to Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Lisa McGinty has been promoted to Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) and Michelle Tudor has been promoted to Vice President (VP) of Human Resources. With the expansion of its executive leadership team across core divisions, SafeAI is poised to accelerate the development and deployment of autonomous solutions for heavy industry.

Akshat Patel, who has been promoted to CTO, joined SafeAI in April 2023 as Senior Vice President (SVP) of Engineering where he was responsible for overseeing SafeAI’s global engineering team to support the company’s growing customer base, as well as spearheading its product development roadmap of advanced, next generation autonomous solutions. Patel brings deep technical expertise to SafeAI, including more than a decade of experience developing and deploying autonomous systems at companies like Apple, Tesla and Caterpillar. Since joining the company, Patel has excelled at his role and has contributed invaluable insight that has helped advance the development of SafeAI’s industry-leading autonomous technology solutions.
Lisa McGinty, who has been named CMO, brings over three decades of experience helping start-up, growth stage, and Fortune 500 companies drive brand awareness, revenue, and strategic growth. Since joining the company in 2021, McGinty has been a key player in elevating the company’s global brand awareness, expanding market reach, and delivering exceptional experiences to existing and new customers. As CMO, McGinty will continue to oversee all aspects of SafeAI’s global awareness and marketing, thought leadership, and growth.
Michelle Tudor, who will be stepping into the role of VP of Human Resources, brings over 15 years of diverse human resources experience in various industries and start-up environments. She joined SafeAI in 2019 as employee number 7. Since then, Tudor has helped scale company operations to 116 employees across the globe. Tudor’s long standing commitment to SafeAI has been instrumental in developing a foundation of top talent to propel SafeAI towards its vision of accelerating the world’s transition to autonomous construction and mining.
